Tony Leong asked:

t be some reason why some people can lose weight faster than others. Of course there are a couple of factors to be considered like age and body type. But if all are equal, what is that one thing that is blocking some individuals from losing belly fat and preventing from getting a flat stomach. I have seen lots of people successfully lose weight and many that have invested years and money in gym membership but they get nowhere. Then I compiled the similarities of those who successfully lose weight and those who doesn’t and made a summary, which I call the law of weight loss.

Those who follow the law of weight loss, will have higher chance getting their stomach flat, losing stubborn belly fat, getting their thighs slimmer, toning up their arm, getting a much sexier back and finally have a well toned butt. The ones that religiously adhere to the law of weight loss will achieve fantastic health, fabulous stamina, higher metabolism and higher energy levels. They will experience the endorphin effects that elevate their mood.

Moving into the third month of following the law of weight loss, their confidence will be boosted. Why? This is because they are in the phase where by visible effects will take place like their stomach gets flatter. They will receive many compliments from friends and family. The way they dress will change and will get some glances of admiration from other people.

Their confidence will be further boosted when they here their friends say “Hi Mary! My gosh! you look so different! You have really slimmed down a lot and your skin look so healthy!”

These are just a few positive effects that the people that follow the law of weight loss. Most of them that experience these say that their lives have completely changed. They never turned back and because they experienced such a positive impact on their lives, they made fitness and exercise their main priority. This automatically keeps them on track and stick to the exercise schedule. It has become their lifestyle.

What about the ones that did not follow the law of weight loss? Will they be able to lose belly fat and get a flat stomach?

Well, it is clear that they will not enjoy all the benefits that the people that obeyed experienced. These are the people that want results fast and do not want to put in the effort.

Sometimes I am really sick and tired of people that I really want to help but the only response I get is “I want to lose 10 kilograms. I can only workout Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm. I don’t want to diet and don’t ask me to cut down on my alcohol because I want to have a life.” In my mind, I am thinking what life! An unhealthy and overweight life that you came here looking for me to help you change it in the first place?

It is just unfortunate that some people do not want to commit to something but yet wanted something else so bad. Yeah, they will pay the gym fees that cost them perhaps thousand over dollars a year and personal training that cost them even more but this something money cant buy.

But little did they not know, even after being repeated bombarded into their head, they cannot lose weight if they do not want to follow the law of weight loss. They will look and feel the same even after years.

Their friends and family will say “Mary, what have you been up to lately? Your are not here every Tuesday and Thursday for happy hour.”

“Oh, I have been going to the gym regularly.” Said Mary.

“Oh! That figures. Are you trying to put on weight? You look bigger. It is really working for you.”

This is another common mistake that people that do not follow the law of weight loss fall into. A lot of them eat much more after exercising because they thought they have burned so many calories. This makes them fatter!

Most of the time, those who refuse to follow the law of weight loss will just remain the same. They will not be able to lose their belly fat and get a flat stomach. They wont feel healthier, they wont lighter and their weight remains the same. Their waistline remains the same and the way they dress remains the same. Everything is just the same except that they have wasted so much time and money. Their hope crashes and burned.

They will start to thing exercising cannot help them lose weight. Some will resort to surgical methods but after spending tens of thousand of dollars, they will remain the same because the law of weight loss is a must to help them maintain their weight loss.

Wouldn’t it be easier if they have just committed themselves to the law and follow proven methods to weight loss? If they would just follow the law of weight loss, which is FITT, they could have changed their lives in matter of just months. What would you do? If you can get your hands on the law of weight loss and understand the concept of FITT, would you do it? Here is your chance.

Benjamin Wise asked:

Abdominal fat - abs training helps you lose belly fat but not in and of itself. When it comes to abdominal fat many people exercise for vain reasons. Losing belly fat is not only about looking good it is also necessary to be healthy. The best way of developing great abs as well as a tighter midsection is to engage in a comprehensive work out plan. Here are some tips on abdominal fat abs training to lose belly fat.

Tip No. 1: Posture Improvement

Poor posture is a common problem with many people. When you slouch it makes your stomach look bigger. Correct posture ought to be as follows. Your ears should be aligned over your shoulders; shoulders should be aligned over hips, hips over the knees, and knees over the ankles when you want to walk properly. The result is that you actually look slimmer without even going to the gym. In actuality because you improve your posture you also improve your ability to breath and this leads to increased energy.

Tip No. 2: Pilates

Pilates is recommended as an intelligent way of using the abdominals as well as arms, legs, and back muscles. It focuses on developing the rectus abdominis by which we mean the top abdominal muscle layer. It also pays attention to the internal as well as the external obliques. Altogether, this is considered as slow, high quality exercise that ensures strength and flexibility as well.

Plank: Let your hands and knees work to create what is called a push-up plank position. You are basically doing a balancing act. Put your wrists under your shoulders while you ensure that your back remains straight. Your abs should remain tight. Try to hold this position for a while then exhale.

Leg Lowers: Let the upper body be curled, your chest over ribs. Your hands should be behind your head. Lift the legs up with knees bent at 90 degrees. Keep your hips down as you gradually lower the legs toward the floor. Don’t change the bend in the knees, but simply lift them back up naturally.

Seated Rotations: Sit up, bend your knees and legs together. Your arms should be placced across your chest and tuck your tailbone. Then roll back a little as you rotate the spine right and left.

Tip No. 3: Diet and Digestion

Eat less and move more, should be your motivating mantra. You should strive to burn off more calories than you take in. That is what really helps to reduce body fat.

No matter how many ab exercises you do, if you arent able to control your diet properly, there will always be an extra fat layer around the area of your abdominals. So don’t binge, gorge or be lax with your diet. Be in control and don’t over eat. This way you lose abdominal fat abs training to lose belly fat.

Lose Belly Fat by Giving Up Diet Sodas!

Charles A. Inniss, Jr. DPT asked:

If your goal is to lose belly fat, you may want to give up diet sodas!

Recently there has been a lot of talk about a study that found that people who drank at least 1 diet soda a day were more likely to gain weight and suffer Metabolic Syndrome.

I know that there is a lot of conflicting information about weight loss and losing belly fat. But if you want to lose weight and decrease stomach fat, keep reading this article.

There are 2 major points I want to make about obesity in the American society. In my opinion…

#1 The overconsumption of sugar is wreaking havoc on our metabolisms.

#2 The overconsumption of chemicals is wreaking havoc on our metabolisms.

For some people switching to diet sodas from regular sodas helps them to lose weight because of the decrease in sugar and calorie consumption.

But, for others the chemicals and artificial sweeteners in diet sodas negatively impact the body’s metabolism.

There is evidence that suggests that artificial sweeteners are toxic to the body, and this can negatively affect your metabolism. Artificial sweeteners have received the lion’s share of attention, but artificial sweeteners may be the lesser of two evils in the assault on our metabolisms and our waistlines.

Sodas have another drawback besides sugar or artificial sweeteners.

And that drawback is… Phosphoric Acid.

Phosphoric acid is a sneaky ingredient in sodas that slows down our metabolisms and may cause belly fat, but no one is talking about it. Phosphoric acid is a chemical used to acidify foods and beverages, and it also provides a tangy taste.

Here’s the problem… when you consume acid, your body becomes more acidic. When your body becomes more acidic all of your cells function less efficiently and your metabolism slows down.

Your body has a certain pH level. pH refers to potential hydrogen and ranges from 0-14. 0 is the most acidic and 14 is the most basic (or alkaline). 7 is neutral and around 7.4 is optimal for the blood.

Many weight loss plans (like the book The Ultimate pH Solution by Michelle Schoffro Cook, DNM) focus on correcting pH balance by making your body less acidic, and my take is that the consumption of acid is potentially another reason consuming diet sodas is linked with the development of Metabolic Syndrome and weight gain around your belly.

Phosphoric acid is an irritant to your digestive system and it will slow down your metabolism and negatively affect cell function.

The artificial sweeteners may not be the ring leader in the assault on our metabolisms. Our digestive system is always being bombarded with irritants, such as sugar, chemicals, and preservatives, and constantly adding acid to your digestive system will likely decrease your body’s ability to burn fat and keep you healthy.

In a perfect world we would not consume any food or drinks with chemicals or preservatives, but we don’t live in a perfect world.

So if you are trying to lose belly fat or lose weight, I recommend that you do your best to avoid chemicals when you can, and try to drink clean filtered or distilled water as often as possible.
