Trying to bulk up but trying to lose belly fat?
One of t asked:
I am 30 @ 6′ and 150 lbs. I went to the gym earlier this year and worked with a trainer for a few months. I am a skinny guy but I wanted to put on some muscle (chest and biceps) as well as lose a little bit of my belly fat (not a lot at all). The trainer had me eating (I still do it) lots of pasta after workouts to help me bulk up. I’ve cut out a lot of fat from my diet and eats lots of protein like chicken and fish. I also eat 6-7 times a day. I can see my 6 pack when I flex my stomach muscles but I still have a little bit of stomach fat. Is there a way to get rid of the fat completely without sacrificing any muscle build-up that I have gained? Thanks.

Sit ups… there’s no better way to burn belly fat than good old sit ups.

You can’t spot reduce. Doing ab excercises will flatten your belly but not get rid of fat. The only way to lose fat is to burn more calories than you eat. Sorry to say, some people just can not normally be ripped. Your genes have much to do with this. As you are thin, your body simply carries a little fat on your stomach.
